Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan and schedule daily transport operations (prime movers, isotanks, road tankers,

package trucks) including terminal booking time slot if needed

2. Assign jobs based on vehicle type, driver competency, and delivery requirements

(DG/non-DG, SIC, time windows)

3. Optimize routing and fleet utilization to improve efficiency and reduce costs

4. Coordinate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams on delivery and

collection schedules

5. Monitor urgent/last-minute activations and highlight deviations from standard lead time

6. Monitor driver deployment, working hours, and compliance (e.g. HazMat requirements)

7. Liaise with approved transporters, 3PL yards and service providers (e.g. tank cleaning,

storage, lifting)

8. Arrange external transport when internal fleet capacity is insufficient

9. Track and verify 3PL job execution, charges and service performance

10. Prepare/print and verify delivery orders (DO), transport documents and job instructions

11. Prepare a Purchase Requisition for approval and perform the GR in SAP after verifying

the job is completed

12. Update systems (e.g. SAP, TMS, Excel trackers) for job records, movements and

reporting

13. Support invoice verification for transport and logistics-related services

14. Maintain proper filing of SOPs, work instructions, and operational records

15. Ensure all transport activities comply with regulatory requirements (LTA, SCDF, NEA, port

requirements)

16. Support implementation of safety procedures (e.g. driver compliance, site rules, PPE)

17. Highlight operational risks (e.g. overloading, unsafe scheduling, non-compliance)

18. Participate in incident reporting, investigation and follow-up actions where required

19. Assists & backs up logistics daily activity when someone is absent or not in.

20. Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by manager respect.
