Job DescriptionAs a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the demo team in building and enhancing features using cutting-edge technologies. You will lead the design and development of scalable, multi-tenant, and high-performance demo environments, while mentoring team members and driving engineering excellence.
You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, demo architects, and pre-sales stakeholders to define and uphold best practices for demo creation and delivery. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality, customizable, and impactful demo artifacts, while continuously improving the robustness, scalability, and performance of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design and implementation of demo features and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define clear and actionable project requirements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Provide accurate technical estimates and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
- Write and review proof-of-concept, feature, enhancement, and corrective code following demo team and industry best practices.
- Guide and mentor developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to design standards.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to internal knowledge sharing to enhance the demo experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues impacting the demo portal or assets.
- Champion engineering best practices and contribute to the evolution of demo architecture and tooling.
- Proven expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably with experience in Next.js.
- Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, Tailwind).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and performance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Sitecore XM/XP development.
- Proficiency in .NET development, including C# and ASP.NET.
- Familiarity with deploying applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, CodedUI).
