The Lead Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will support financial planning in Malaysia and Singapore, performing sales forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Responsibilities include preparing management reports, conducting financial reviews, providing business support, and participating in business process optimization. The role requires collaboration with controllership teams and managing financials effectively.

About the job:
This is an exciting finance business partnering role where you will work directly with commercial leaders in Malaysia and Singapore to achieve financial objectives. You will be hands-on in providing timely financial analysis and insights, owning the financial stewardship by monitoring key financial figures, making recommendations to the business and taking appropriate actions.
What you will be doing:
- Support the financial planning of our Malaysia and Singapore business by analyzing its performance and risks
- Perform Sales Forecasting, Budget, Projections and Strategic Planning
- Prepare key management reports including sales analysis; monthly management pack; cash flow and expense tracking reports, etc.
- Conduct financial reviews with business and functional leaders, add quality business insights and identify potential opportunities for improvements
- Provide business support to sales and other functional teams, such as pricing review, pricing analysis and monitoring sales performance
- Prepare financial modelling / business case analysis as needs arise
- Support finance indirect channel management on pricing analysis and off contract monitoring
- Participate in business process optimization and system implementation projects when required
- Lead or collaborate with local and/or regional controllership teams for responsible accounting areas to manage financials
- Other duties or projects may be added as the business grows and evolves
Who are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accountancy
- CPA or equivalent preferred
- 5 to 8 years experience in FP&A roles gained in MNC environments
- Experience in external audit firms is an added advantage
- High proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Familiarity with JDE system, Power BI and Hyperion software is an advantage
- Excellent team player who works well in cross-functional teams
- Strong communications skills and able to influence and manage stakeholder expectations
- Self-motivated and responsible, with demonstrated ability to meet deliverables according to timelines
- High ethical standards and integrity
