Step into a dynamic role where your strategic insights and financial acumen will enhance the growth and efficiency of our Currencies and Emerging Markets (CEM) team. Asia CEM has an onshore presence in more than 10 countries across Asia, offering both flow and non-flow business, including FX, derivatives, and fixed income products to corporate and institutional clients. As part of the Business Management team, you will act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks while managing strategic growth initiatives and improving financial efficiency.
As an Associate in the CEM Trading Business Management team, you will optimize business performance and spearhead key initiatives. Our role is dynamic, varying across different lines of business, and involves managing strategic business growth initiatives, improving financial efficiency, and addressing business constraints such as local legal entity limits. You will work closely with Business/Group Heads to ensure alignment with the priorities of different lines of business.

Job responsibilities
- Participate in strategic and complex business revenue growth initiatives and expansion plans
- Provide high-level responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to business initiatives, financials, project management, presentation development, and business analysis
- Organize complex information strategically and compellingly, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- Create wireframes and mock-ups quickly and iteratively for management presentations, reports, and dashboards
- Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and facilitate next steps
- Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks
- Identify key business risks on the platform and implement resolution of mitigating controls
- Support audit, regulatory, and compliance deliverables; help implement specific action plans and deliverables within the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework
- Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions
- Collect and maintain internal resources and documentation on collaboration sites such as SharePoint
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, continually simplifying, improving, and adding value to existing business processes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related areas
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a markets-related function, including Business Management, CFO, or COO roles
- Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders
- Attention to detail is essential with a continuous focus on design excellence
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and advancing the agenda
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions
- Ability to analyze large and complex data on Excel and/or BI tools like Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire
- Intermediate to advanced level ability in MS Excel and other Office tools
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with a high degree of independence
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
