The intern will conduct market research on EV trends, generate leads, support pre-sales, and assist with customer inquiries in the energy sector.
JOB DESCRIPTIONKeppel is a global asset manager and operator headquartered in Singapore. This role sits within the Infrastructure Division which offers exposure to one or more of the following: industrial safety awareness, attachment to our operating commercial plant(s), and selected commercial functions to appreciate the value chains of our businesses in renewables, clean energy, decarbonisation and environmental infrastructure.
The intern will be responsible in the following:
1. Market research and analysis
• Conduct market research on EV adoption trends, best practices and market analysis
• Generate leads list of potential sites.
• Monitor and update charging station names, pricing and new stations every month
2. Lead generation & pre-sales
• Pre-sales engagement to find out potential customers’ requirements
• Send pitch deck and arrange for meetings
• Support preparation of presentation slides, scheduling appointments or organizing documents, opening of electricity accounts
3. Participate in the development / UAT of new features or improvements for the charging station app and software
4. Support customer service and troubleshooting inquiries related to charging stations
5. Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / Head of Department from time to time
Learning Outcomes:
1. Gain hands on exposure to marketing functions including digital marketing, onsite execution, activations, and events management
2. Exposure to a growing and regionalizing player in the energy/utilities and electric mobility space, learning about business strategies and execution
3. Gain understanding and insights of an EV Charging Point Operator’s business
4. Learn how to find potential customers' needs and support sales efforts
5. Gain skills in market research and analysis
6. Develop customer service abilities, including troubleshooting, and understand operational processes through hands-on experienceJOB REQUIREMENTSJob Requirements:
1. University undergraduate from Engineering / Business Administration discipline
2. Good written and verbal communication skills
3. Ability to gather and interpret data related to EV market trends and consumer behavior
4. Ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
