JOB DESCRIPTION

Keppel is a global asset manager and operator headquartered in Singapore. With operations in more than 20 countries worldwide, we provide innovative solutions that address some of the world’s most pressing needs across the energy transition, rapid urbanisation, and increasing digitalisation. This role sits within the Infrastructure Division which offers exposure to one or more of the following: industrial safety awareness, attachment to our operating commercial plant(s), and selected commercial functions to appreciate the value chains of our businesses in renewables, clean energy, decarbonisation and environmental infrastructure. The intern will be responsible in the following: • Lead/support in improvement and optimization of projects of the business processes of the Environment Business. • Support the sourcing/evaluation/execution of BD pipelines for environment-related / infrastructure projects/tenders/development. • Support deals and process management including performance of financial and technical evaluations, risk assessment etc. of projects leading to approvals/endorsement from management. • Support in the execution of deals, building financial models and conducting due diligence. • Support in the preparation of investment papers and recommendations for investment approvals. • Engage in marketing activities across the Environmental business. • Assist and engage in the review of technologies/setups and M&A opportunities. Learning Outcomes: • Gain industrial insights of the Environment Business. • Gain commercial experience. • Apply and connect academic theories with real-time applications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements: • Undergraduate pursuing a Degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Business, Finance or related disciplines. • Interest in related field, i.e. process/Waste to energy/power industries/carbon capture would be advantageous. • Strong fundamental and technical analysis and critical thinking capabilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and key research databases. • Interest in financial analysis and modelling. • Strong lead and team player, proactive and meticulous. • Good communication and presentation skills. #LI-KK1
