Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Application Support team. This role is suitable for entry-level candidates and junior professionals who are passionate about technology and eager to build their careers in software engineering.

The successful candidate will support business-critical applications, troubleshoot technical issues, perform system maintenance activities, and work closely with development and support teams to ensure application stability and performance.

Experience gained through internships, academic projects, or hands-on technical training will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide application support and troubleshoot production issues.

  • Monitor application performance and ensure system availability.

  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and service requests.

  • Support application enhancements, fixes, and deployment activities.

  • Work closely with developers, business users, and support teams to identify solutions.

  • Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.

  • Follow established support processes and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Java (mandatory).

  • Understanding of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and application troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Python.

  • Basic knowledge of Shell Scripting.

  • Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook.

  • Experience with application support, either through work, internships, or academic projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Approximately 1 to 2 years of experience in software engineering, application support, internships, or relevant project work.

  • Fresh graduates with strong project and internship experience in Java technologies are encouraged to apply.
