Java Developer (Microservices)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑performance microservices and backend applications using Java 17 and above.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design and develop software applications, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your ability to collaborate, innovate, and adapt to changing requirements will be key to your success.
What you do

  • Design, develop, and support business applications, including new feature enhancements, end‑user testing, and defect resolution.

  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, QA teams (automated and manual), business analysts, scrum masters, and product owners.

  • Provide post‑deployment application support and troubleshoot production issues.

  • Manage and implement change requests in alignment with business requirements.

Who you are

Must‑Have Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent discipline.

  • Strong experience with:

    • Java 11/17/21, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate

    • Microservices architecture and RESTful API development

    • Messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka

    • Caching technologies like Redis

  • Hands-on Experience RDBMS like PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.

  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization in microservices, specifically using JWT or opaque tokens.

  • Ability to write effective unit tests, perform performance reviews, optimize application code, and address security vulnerabilities.

  • Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Liquibase, SonarQube, Coverity, and Black Duck.

Nice-to-Have

  • Basic frontend development skills with ReactJS.

  • Experience with application service maintenance on RHEL, including installation and configuration of Apache and Tomcat.

  • Familiarity with ELK stack (Kibana) for log analysis.

  • Experience with containerization using Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm.

  • Experience with Spring Cloud Gateway and understanding of TLS/SSL certificates.
