We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Cloud Infrastructure unit.

Cloud Infrastructure manage the DNV multicloud environments based on our Private Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Amazon Web Services - branded as the “VerIT Platform”.

Our main responsibilities are to operate, support and drive innovation across all the key infrastructure disciplines. We support the DNV growth ambitions by active participation in many global mergers & acquisition projects. We embrace the latest technology stack from key partners to build the best solutions for DNV business areas, Group functions and external customers. We are around 100 professionals in 10 locations around the world with main hubs in Oslo, Gdynia, Shanghai and Houston.

This position is part of the Cloud Infrastructure AP team and is based in Singapore. You will report functionally to the relevant global service managers and line-wise to the Head of Infrastructure Asia Pacific. The Cloud Infrastructure AP team supports DNV’s core global infrastructure services during Asia Pacific business hours and, together with global virtual team members, helps provide 24/7 service coverage.

Your key tasks and deliveries:

  • As Data Center Supervisor, manage and support the VerIT Global Data Center in Singapore. 
  • Act as the primary engineer in the AP time zone for managing and supporting email services. 
  • Manage DNV's Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Manage and support global servers in the AP time zone. 
  • Manage and support the VerIT core virtualization systems in the AP time zone (including VMware and VDI).
  • Manage and support the file services in the AP time zone (e.g. P drive).
  • Participate in duties, tasks, and projects as requested by the section, and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and a service mindset. You should also have the following experience, skills and qualities:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support.
  • Solid hands-on experience with core infrastructure technologies such as Microsoft Exchange Online (Microsoft 365, Hybrid Environment), Windows Server Administration (including Hyper-V), Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, PowerShell, VMware and Data Center facilities.
  • Experience in global IT support, with strong cross-region and cross-time-zone collaboration and communication skills.
  • Strong service mindset and customer-centric approach, with the ability to collaborate effectively, take ownership, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Project management skills are a plus.
  • Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with AWS and OCI is an advantage.
