As a Model Risk Management Intern within Group Risk Management, you’ll be directly involved in the validation of models used across the bank, contributing to the integrity of our risk management framework.

What you do

You'll be directly involved in:

  • Assisting with the model validation process, including reviewing model documentation, methodologies, and results.
  • Learning about the principles of model risk management and the regulatory requirements surrounding model validation.
  • Supporting the team in identifying potential weaknesses and areas for improvement in existing models.
  • Contributing to the development of validation reports and recommendations.

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, ideally in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering).
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in understanding how banks manage model risk.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Eager to learn about model validation techniques and regulatory requirements.
