Why Join

Be part of OCBC’s journey in building and scaling digital products that shape the future of consumer banking. As a GCFS Digital Business Intern, you’ll gain exposure to the bank’s digital strategy and work on initiatives that drive adoption across key digital platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience in digital product delivery, analytics‑driven decision-making, and cross‑functional collaboration within a fast‑evolving digital ecosystem.

You’ll be comfortable working with ambiguity, open to learning Agile ways of working, and proactive in coordinating across teams. What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Digital Platform Exposure: gain awareness of OCBC’s digital platforms and product ecosystem within consumer banking
  • Product & Agile Delivery: support Agile ways of working and gain hands‑on exposure by assisting or acting as a proxy Product Owner on initiatives
  • Digital Product Launch Support: contribute to the end‑to‑end digital business lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and adoption
  • Programme Execution: help execute the digital core book of work, including peer comparisons and strategic assessments
  • Insights & Analytics: analyse customer data, demographics, and usage patterns to create views that support digital adoption strategies
  • Coordination & Governance: support the Product Owner in coordinating across business, technology, and functional teams
  • Reporting & Tracking: maintain and update digital business heatmaps and tracking materials

Who you work with

You’ll be part of the GCFS Digital Business team within Digital Business & Transformation, working closely with product owners, technology teams, analytics partners, and consumer banking stakeholders. The team drives digital strategy and execution, ensuring digital products deliver value to customers and the business.

Who you are

  • Interested in digital products, platforms, and business transformation
  • Comfortable working across teams in an Agile or fast‑paced environment
  • Curious about using data and analytics to understand customer behaviour and drive adoption
  • Able to support coordination, documentation, and follow‑through on deliverables
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree

This internship will provide you with:

  • Understanding of the bank’s strategic roadmap for digital products
  • Hands‑on exposure to the launch and scaling of digital products
  • Practical experience using data and analytics to drive digital adoption
  • Exposure to Agile delivery practices and the role of a Product Owner
  • End‑to‑end understanding of how digital business initiatives are executed

What we offer:
