As a Business Performance & Analysis Intern in CFS Finance, you’ll work with the team that supports profitability, performance tracking, and management reporting for key consumer products. This internship offers hands‑on experience in financial analysis, business drivers, and process improvement, while building a strong foundation in finance and analytics.

To succeed in this role, you’ll be analytical, detail‑oriented, and curious about how financial performance is shaped by both business decisions and external factors. You’ll be comfortable working with data, eager to learn about interest rate dynamics, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes. Your ability to structure analysis and communicate insights clearly will help you support effective decision‑making.

What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Management Reporting: support the development and preparation of management reporting materials for deposits and secured loans products
  • Business Driver Analysis: assist in analysing key business drivers and performance indicators for consumer banking products
  • Interest Rate Tracking: track key interest rate movements and support analysis on how macro‑environment trends impact product profitability
  • Data Analysis & Insights: provide data analysis for product‑specific initiatives and post‑campaign performance reviews
  • Process Improvement & Automation: support the enhancement of existing workflows through the use of automation tools
  • Stakeholder Support: work with finance and business partners to gather data and support reporting and analysis needs

Who you work with

You’ll be part of the CFS Finance – Business Performance & Analysis team, partnering closely with businesses managing deposits and secured loans, as well as other finance and analytics stakeholders. The team plays a critical role in translating financial data into insights that support sound business decisions and sustainable growth.

Who you are

  • Interested in consumer banking products, financial analysis, and performance management
  • Curious about how macro‑economic trends, such as interest rates, affect business outcomes
  • Comfortable working with data and structured reporting
  • Analytical, methodical, and able to simplify complex information
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business, Accounting, or Economics
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with VBA, QlikView, or other automation tools is an advantage
