Gain deep exposure to how business performance is managed within OCBC’s consumer banking portfolio. As a Business Performance & Analysis Intern within CFS Finance, you’ll work closely with the team supporting Cards and Unsecured Loans businesses. This internship offers hands‑on experience in performance management, reporting, and strategic projects, while helping you build a strong foundation in finance, analytics, and stakeholder engagement.

To succeed in this role, you’ll be analytical, detail‑oriented, and eager to understand how business performance is tracked and managed. You’ll be comfortable working with data and reports, open to learning new tools, and proactive in supporting projects. Your ability to work across tasks, collaborate with stakeholders, and take initiative will enable you to contribute effectively to both recurring processes and change initiatives.

What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Business Performance Reporting: prepare monthly performance reports for the acquiring, cards, and unsecured loans businesses
  • KPI Tracking: track and analyse key performance indicators, including card spend and loan volumes
  • Month‑End Support: prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for month‑end closing activities
  • Project Support & UAT: assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Cards Replatform project, focusing on Merchant Acquiring and Card Issuing modules
  • Process Improvement & Automation: support initiatives to improve existing processes through automation and/or Power BI projects
  • Analysis & Insights: assist in analysing performance trends and translating findings into insights for stakeholders

Who you work with

You’ll be part of the CFS Finance – Business Performance & Analysis team, working closely with business units, project teams, and other finance stakeholders. The team partners the Cards and Unsecured Loans businesses to provide performance insights, support strategic initiatives, and ensure sound financial management.

Who you are

  • Interested in finance, business performance management, and analytics
  • Inquisitive and passionate about problem‑solving
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and structured processes
  • Proactive, organised, and willing to take initiative
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Finance, Accountancy, or Business
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Exposure to Power BI, QlikView, or programming languages is an advantage
