You will work closely with senior designers to shape the future of our user experiences and define how AI integrates into our design workflow.

Job Description

The UX Design Intern will support the IT team in enhancing the user experience of Scoot's digital products and services. This role offers an opportunity to apply design principles in a fast-paced aviation environment, contributing to improved user journeys and intuitive interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in driving the UX and product strategy for internal AI platforms, including knowledge base assistants, IT troubleshooting tools, and voice bots.

  • Map out detailed user journeys, conversation flows, and edge cases for both text and voice interfaces.

  • Conduct stress testing and distribute user surveys to gather actionable insights for continuous product improvement.

  • Support the definition and prioritization of features for the internal AI product roadmap.

  • Assist in researching and documenting advanced AI workflows, such as utilizing new models to automate design system tasks.

  • Leverage generative AI tools to rapidly prototype concepts, write conversational copy, and synthesize research data.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in the intersection of UX Design and Product Management.

  • Familiarity with conversational UX, prompt engineering, or designing specifically for AI products.

  • Proficiency in Figma for mapping complex user flows and prototyping system interfaces.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate user survey data and testing results into product recommendations.

  • Proactive attitude toward researching and evaluating the latest generative AI technologies.

  • Understanding of Design Thinking principles and user-centered problem solving.
