As a Manpower Planning & Optimisation Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting workforce planning and optimisation processes for our Office Staff, Cabin Crew, and Flight Crew. From data consolidation to system migration and reporting, you’ll gain hands-on experience in manpower planning while contributing to Scoot’s operational readiness and continuous improvement initiatives. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manpower Data Management

    • Assist in consolidating, maintaining, and reporting manpower data for Office Staff, Cabin Crew, and Flight Crew.

    • Support system migration, data cleansing, and validation for Workday Adaptive Planning implementation.

  • Reporting and Coordination

    • Prepare management reports and meeting materials.

    • Coordinate with stakeholders on manpower related matters.

  • Workforce Planning and Projects

    • Support ad-hoc projects related to workforce planning, data analysis, and operational readiness.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and manpower cost control strategies.

Learning Outcomes

  • Gain hands-on experience in manpower planning and optimisation processes within the aviation industry.

  • Learn both top-down and bottom-up approaches to headcount planning and workforce management.

  • Understand the practical impact of workforce planning on regulatory requirements.

  • Develop skills in data consolidation, workforce reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder management.

  • Build exposure to workforce planning tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning and Excel based planning frameworks.

  • Enhance understanding of budgeting processes and manpower control strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP, basic data analysis).

  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proactive, willing to learn, and a team player.
