Internship Program Overview:  

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives. 

Summary of Role: 

Entrenched in a team of expert Regional Strategists working from a major production powerhouse of the Singapore Fab Operations, the role provides deep insight and broad knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and supply chain. Spanning across essential materials, equipment, parts and services that support the daily seamless operations in wafer fabrication, this role demands critical and strategic thinking and a high level of energy on a daily basis to drive the best cost and operational outcome for the company. 

Essential Responsibilities include: 

  • Support deep dives into regional spend to identify areas of new opportunities to drive cost sustainable cost reduction 

  • Support deep dives into regional supply chain risk management 

  • Support deep dives into regional supplier landscape 

  • Develop sustainable reporting methodologies to drive efficient continual review processes 
     

Other Responsibilities: 

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. 
     

Required Qualifications: 

  • Education Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
