Job Summary

Join the Digital Marketing Analytics team to support both day‑to‑day reporting and the continuous improvement of social media analytics and insight workflows. You will gain hands‑on exposure to social media reporting, performance analysis, campaign tracking and social listening, while supporting efforts to make reporting processes more consistent, efficient and scalable.

This internship is suited for someone who is interested in understanding how social media metrics are measured and reported, how insights are delivered to stakeholders, and how reporting and analytics processes can be improved to better support the business.

Job Responsibilities

Social Media Reporting & Insights

  • Support internal reporting for the Social Media team, including competitor analysis and benchmarking.

  • Develop familiarity with key social media metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, engagement rate and click through rate, including how they are calculated and reported.

  • Analyze conversation trends, sentiment, buzz volume and engagement opportunities through regular social listening.

  • Present findings in easily digestible, visually engaging formats for marketing teams and senior management.

  • Provide insights and recommendations on where teams can improve in the social media space, moving beyond what happened to why it happened and what actions should follow.

Reporting Automation & Process Optimization

  • Review recurring social media and analytics reports to identify duplication and improvement opportunities.

  • Consolidate fragmented reports into reusable templates to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.

  • Document and standardize key social media metrics, definitions and reporting logic used across teams.

  • Support improvements to dashboards and reporting outputs (e.g. logic, layout, filters).

  • Contribute to internal SOPs, naming conventions and governance documentation.

  • Propose simple, lightweight ideas to improve reporting workflows or data delivery.
     

Social Media Marketing Tools & Paid Social (Exposure Level)

  • Support campaign tracking and performance reporting for social media initiatives.

  • Assist in monitoring paid social campaign performance and preparing reporting summaries.

  • Help ensure automated or recurring reports from social media marketing tools are relevant and aligned to stakeholder needs.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Familiarity with social media metrics and an interest in understanding performance measurement.

  • Experience with Python/R, Power BI or SQL is a plus

  • Exposure to reporting, dashboarding or analytics tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.

Other Prerequisites

  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and derive insights.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.

  • Structured, detail oriented and comfortable documenting logic, workflows and definitions.

  • Proactive self starter with willingness to learn and take initiative.
