Quality Intern supporting customer and product quality activities in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include quality investigations, data analysis, RCCA and 8D problem solving, QMS documentation, quality audits, concession and deviation requests, and continuous improvement projects. The intern will collaborate cross-functionally on inspection efficiency, optical inspection, smart manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives while gaining practical experience with manufacturing quality management.
Quality Intern
Responsibilities:
- Support Customer Quality and Product Quality activities to ensure compliance with product and customer requirements.
- Submit Customer Concession and Deviation Approval Requests.
- Conduct quality investigations, perform data analysis, and drive Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities, including documentation, process compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
- Participate in and lead project-based initiatives to enhance Quality Inspection Efficiency and Effectiveness, such as the implementation of Smart QC and Optical Inspection Solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality improvement opportunities and support operational excellence objectives.
- Gain hands-on experience in manufacturing quality management.
- Learn practical application of problem-solving methodologies such as RCCA, 8D, and data-driven quality analysis.
- Exposure to QMS requirements, quality auditing processes, and industry best practices.

Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Available for a 6-month internship (preferred).
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
