DESCRIPTION:
Join our Inside Sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll grow sales of Laboratory products and services for our resellers and tier 3 customers . Working primarily via phone, email, and digital platforms, you'll maintain and develop customer relationships while ensuring market reach and profitability. This role offers an opportunity to advance your sales career with a leader in serving science, enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Your key responsibilities include developing and maintaining effective customer relationships, implementing sales strategies, managing pricing, researching market trends, and maintaining accurate reporting. You'll work independently while leveraging cross-functional resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales objectives. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to effectively communicate product value propositions.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree required, inside sales experience of 1 to 2 years would be an advantage.
• Preferred Fields of Study: Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning technical/scientific concepts
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Travel occasionally for customer meetings and trainings (10-20%)
• Bilingual English/Mandarin proficiency would be added advantage.
