The Industrial Software Development Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating development teams, with the main objective of designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions tailored to industrial needs.

Their missions include ensuring project objectives in terms of quality, cost, and deadlines are met, guaranteeing internal and external client satisfaction, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and fostering innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead, and motivate development teams to achieve project objectives
  • Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of industrial software solutions
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and cybersecurity requirements
  • Plan and monitor budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Coordinate communication and alignment between cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, QA, operations)
  • Report project progress, risks, and issues to management and other stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
  • Ensure customer needs and feedback are integrated into development processes
  • Manage vendor or subcontractor relationships as needed
  • Identify and address technical challenges and propose effective solutions
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, Industrial Software development, DevOps, and r software engineering roles.
  • Significant experience in software development, ideally in industrial or embedded systems  
  • Proven track record managing software projects or leading development teams  
  • Experience with industrial automation, control systems, or relevant industry domains preferred  
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development life cycles  
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners or clients
  • Ability to manage remote and distributed teams
  • Strong focus on operational excellence, reliability and customer satisfaction

  • Working Location: One North

  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
