About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resource Business Partner to join our team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will build collaborative and trusting relationships with business leaders, anticipate business needs, and implement strategic HR initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance across a wide range of HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
What you will be doing
Build collaborative and trusting collaborative relationships with business leaders, anticipating business needs and implement appropriate initiatives.
Provide strategic advice & guidance to the line managers on all HR products & services including but not limited to goal settings, organization structure, staff issues, talent acquisitions & retention, learning & development, talent management, performance management, staff grievances, etc.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Managers/ Head of Departments on all employee relation issues. Instructs or strongly influences managers/ partners on sensitive ER issues and the appropriate approach to resolve conflict.
Partner with key stakeholders to determine the business need for new and amended roles. Identifies key responsibilities and impacts of proposed changes on existing roles and structure to shape the decision. Partners with colleagues to role map.
Manage performance management activities, including goal setting and performance reviews.
Work closely with wider Group HR functions to align Rewards methodology and Compensation principles
Incorporate understanding of Singapore business needs, and identify solutions for improvement in HR processes and rewards structures.
Provide day to day advisory on related matters on Payroll and Benefits scope.
Ensure appropriate approvals for all compensation and benefits related activities
Conduct analysis for all levels to determine appropriate job grade level and market salary
Participates / completes salary surveys and analyse results and deliver total rewards analysis
Work collaboratively with other stakeholders on in the annual budgeting and re-forecasting exercises
Collaborate with Group HR on yearly promotion, salary planning, annual merit increase exercises
Manage related compensation and benefits vendors to support Singapore Operations

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders
Excellent understanding of HR practices, employment law, and organizational development
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives in a dynamic environment
