This role is to support sites management, of the plants/premises/workplaces, to discharge their statutory duties, particularly in identification of workplace health, safety, environment & fire safety risks and in recommending the necessary control measures.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
  • Conduct Industrial regulatory audits.
  • Implement and manage Company HSE programs.
  • Establish company HSE procedures based on regulatory and Air Liquide requirements.
  • Implement & maintain ISO14001,  ISO 45001  and SS651 Management Systems.
  • Support site(s) in their annual MHD follow up on Intervention Plan (IP) and Revision Plan (RP) .
  • Walk the talk & conduct safety audits, review RA/MOS/SWP of high-risk activities
  • Act as In–house trainer to develop and coach HSE/IMS-related training and qualification activities.
  • Lead accident / incident investigations.
  • Facilitate in accident and incident root cause analysis.
  • Organize and conduct company HSE Meetings.
  • Research and drive implementation of HSE best practices.
  • Lead programs to cultivate safety mindset culture.
  • Coordinate Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) drills and the maintenance of emergency response equipment.
  • Identify areas for improvement in HSE.
  • Support the Entity’s Security procedures and measures and contributes to their implementation.
  • Make sure they are put into practice in the Departments and sites in his purview.
  • Ensures security policy are understood and correctly applied, especially during operational security visits on the ground.
  • Remains continually informed of the overall situation in the country and local incidents.
  • Keeps abreast of Group projects which might affect operations in the country.
Are you a MATCH?
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with Ministry of Manpower.
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable Singapore HSE regulations, concepts and trends.
  • Well versed with ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 and GHS.
  • Self-starter with the vision and drive to lead.
  • Track record of safety management skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex mandatory regulations and their impact on company’s operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with different groups with diverse needs and requirements; ability to motivate and manage the performance of others.
