Role
We are looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst to join our team. This role is instrumental in configuring and optimizing our HR systems, ensuring data integrity, and managing compliance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HR systems, backend workflows, and system administration, with a problem-solving mindset and a passion for efficiency.
Reporting to the People Infrastructure & Total Rewards Lead, this role will collaborate closely with People Operations Analysts, Recruitment Operations Analysts, and cross-functional teams in HR, Payroll, IT, and Compliance.
Responsibilities:
HRIS Configuration & Optimization
- Design, configure and manage the upkeep of workflows, approval processes, permissions, user access, and data integrity within the system - ensuring system efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Set up and maintain custom fields, data taxonomies, calculated fields and system logic to align with business needs.
- Troubleshoot system issues, errors, inefficiencies and support HR, Recruitment, Payroll, and IT teams with system-related inquiries.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, redundancies, and manual touchpoints within HRIS operations.
- Conduct system audits and reporting to ensure HR data accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Maintain and update integrations with payroll, ATS, and other third-party systems.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enable HRBPs, Recruiters, and Managers to navigate HRIS systems effectively.
Compliance & Documentation
- Oversee I-9 and right-to-work checks for new hires and existing employees, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions and identifying scalable solutions to maintain compliance.
- Maintain and update employee records and documentation in adherence to data governance policies. Drive the design and improvement of documentation processes, contributing to key projects related to efficient documentation management.
- Support audits for SOC2, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements, collaborating closely with Compliance and IT teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Generate reports and dashboards as requested to support People Operations & Infrastructure initiatives.
- Support answering first line people team related queries.
- Assist with general HR workflows, as the role requires, data requests, system updates, processes, and documentation management.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of HRIS or systems configuration experience within an international business setting.
- Strong backend system knowledge and mindset, including workflow automation, data structures, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with system audits, reporting, and compliance-related documentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with HiBob, Greenhouse, Workato, ADP are strong pluses but not required.
