The HR Specialist is responsible for identifying training needs, leading recruitment processes, managing onboarding, overseeing HR audits, and facilitating people engagement activities within the organization.

Department: Human Resource Department
Primary Job Purpose:
Learning & Development
- Identify the learning, training and developmental needs of the organization.
- Develops training calendar, improvising the competency developmental framework (Skills matrix) with external training courses and training evaluations
- Lead on HR training system & audits
- Manage administration of training for budget and expenses, government funding schemes and claim process
Recruitment
- Lead in full recruitment cycle from consultations directly with the hiring managers, to screening & selection of talents (diversity), to making of final offer
- Manage new hires administration and to conduct onboarding, confirmation
- Develop reports on recruitment matters and administration
- Conduct onboarding and exit interviews
Industrial Relations/Internal Audit
- Lead in government grants.
- Manage internal policies in line with government regulations (e.g. retirement, leave, etc.) and recommend best practices
- Lead HR audits/meetings (int/ext)
People Engagement
- Lead in People engagement and culture activities. E.g. CSR, calendar, festivals, etc.
- Support in communications such as townhalls, coffee sessions
Others
- Lead in Canteen and Department budget planning
- Lead/Support projects/process improvements in HR
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resources/ Business with 3-5 years’ experience in recruitment and L&D
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) and good understanding of general systems
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills & Teamwork
- Self-driven with a strong desire to excel/improve, eye for details
