KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

SEA HR Partnering

  • Coach and work in partnership with the SEA affiliate HR Managers to increase the overall maturity of the HR service delivery in the affiliate.

  • Identify and implement opportunities in SEA affiliates to drive greater automation and outsourcing of low value adding HR activities and improve the overall efficiency of the HR function.

  • Ensure the SEA affiliate HR teams are working efficiently and effectively with the APAC HR CoE functions, identifying areas of opportunity to further stretch and streamline.

  • Ensure SEA affiliate HR team structures and capabilities evolve aligned to a proximity-based HR business partner model.

  • Ensure HR activities is able to be performed by the APAC HR CoE functions are conducted efficiently and at a best practice standard locally. Identify opportunities to centralise / cluster HR activities at an SEA level.

  • Challenge the existing SEA affiliate HR structure model with the aim of leveraging resources more effectively and providing a higher standard of HR service.

  • Provide guidance and advice to local affiliates on the design and implementation of sales incentive schemes, ensuring it is aligned to internal guidelines, business needs and market competitiveness.

  • Review and develop local HR policy in all SEA affiliates and ensure all HR practices and policies are updated to company practices and market legal requirements (e.g. employee handbook including benefits addendum, SOPs for HR processes, etc)

APAC CoE Partnering

  • Work in collaboration with the APAC Heads of HR for the CoE functions and CoE roles based in Singapore to ensure the SEA affiliate needs are being identified and solutions are being implemented.

  • Assist as required on CoE activities under the direction of the APAC Heads of HR for the CoE functions.

  • Ensure that cyclical HR tasks such as merit review, bonus review and Let’s Talk Talent are implemented on time and at a high standard across the SEA affiliates.

  • Work in collaboration with the Head of HR – Talent / Capability and the Talent & Capability Advisor based in Singapore to analyse SEA affiliate training needs and assist in the development solutions.

  • Work in collaboration with the Head of HR – Talent / Capability and the Talent & Capability Advisor based in Singapore to build the of SEA managers and employees in the Let’s Talk Talent approach.

  • Work in collaboration with the Head of HR – C&B/HR Controlling to review payroll vendors across all SEA markets including tax and government related funds and payments.

  • Act as a conduit between the CoE and SEA affiliates (and vice-versa) in the dissemination / roll-out of information and initiatives relating to C&B, HR Controlling, Talent and Capability.
