About the team

At OpenAI, we believe that artificial general intelligence (AGI) should benefit all of humanity. To make this real, our team helps organizations worldwide unlock AI’s potential while upholding OpenAI’s values of safety, responsibility, and transparency.

On Readiness we aim to equip our team with the skills, knowledge, and capabilities required to deploy advanced A(G)I safely and effectively. Our strategy focuses on fostering a consultative approach rooted in technical expertise, driving value from our proximity to leading research, and a readiness to adapt with the rapid evolution of AI.

About the role

As a Regional GTM Enablement Manager, you will drive AI readiness in your region, ensuring customers and partners have the knowledge, tools, and support they need to succeed. You’ll tailor global strategies to local needs, gather insights to influence our priorities and approach, and enable our team and organizations to deploy AI with confidence. This role blends technical know-how, local awareness, and a drive to continuously learn and share.

In this role, you will:

  • Embed within the regional team as a trusted partner, identifying high-impact problems and driving forward solutions.

  • Establish a learning and practitioner culture by driving knowledge sharing, hands-on training, and  group sessions.

  • Design and lead the Regional Readiness Plan to support OpenAI priorities, in close coordination with local leaders, teams and HQ partners.

  • Tailor strategies, playbooks and resources to resonate with local markets.

  • Keep a real-time pulse on local team and customer needs, market trends, and any gaps in readiness; share insights to help shape our global strategy.

  • Represent OpenAI at regional events, conferences, and community forums, advocating for our technology and values in ways that resonate with local audiences.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have real-world experience applying AI (preferably with OpenAI or similar tools) and a solid technical foundation, ideally in AI/ML or developer-focused technology.

  • Bring 6+ years in a customer-facing technical role e.g., Developer Relations, Technical Account Management, Customer Success, or Technical Product Marketing.

  • Understand regional cultural nuances, regulatory constraints, and business realities that shape local AI adoption.

  • Have a deep understanding of GTM teams—roles, motivations, and goals—so you can build impactful enablement programs.

  • Excel at gathering feedback and distilling complex concepts into accessible, engaging formats that inform strategy and drive decisions.

  • Create clear content—from playbooks and documentation to how-to guides—tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Eager to help your colleagues and build strong partnership, maintaining a humble, collaborative approach.

  • Adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, proactively identifying problems and owning them end-to-end.

  • Enjoy connecting with local communities and empowering early adopters through creative programs and events.
