Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Partner with Trading, Sales, Operations, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Technology teams to deliver strategic Securities Finance initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end business analysis throughout the delivery lifecycle, covering scope definition, requirements elicitation, process analysis, solution design, functional specifications, testing, implementation and post-production support.
• Analyse and design front-to-back processes covering pricing and trade capture, inventory and position management, credit and trading-limit controls, collateral allocation, margining, settlement, lifecycle events, corporate actions, billing, accounting and regulatory reporting.
• Define target-state operating models, identify process and control gaps, and drive automation, platform modernisation and operational improvements.
• Translate business requirements into practical and scalable solutions, including business rules, workflows, data requirements, system interfaces and exception-handling processes.
• Coordinate dependencies and integrations across trading platforms, Murex, collateral management systems, settlement platforms, SWIFT, custodians, triparty agents, market utilities and downstream risk, finance and reporting systems.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops, challenge requirements constructively, manage requirement traceability and drive stakeholder agreement on scope, design decisions and acceptance criteria.
• Provide functional leadership for SIT, UAT, business readiness, data migration, cutover and production stabilisation, including test-scenario design, defect analysis and resolution.
• Support vendor and solution evaluations, delivery planning and roadmap development while maintaining awareness of market practices, regulatory developments and emerging Securities Finance technology.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant Business Analysis or product delivery experience within Securities Finance, Global Markets, Treasury or Capital Markets.
• Strong product knowledge of Securities Lending and Borrowing & Repo (including principal and agency models, bilateral and triparty structures), Asset Swap, Margin Financing and etc.
• Practical understanding of the Securities Finance lifecycle, including trade capture, inventory and availability, collateral and margin management, settlement, recalls and returns, substitutions, rate changes, rerates, corporate actions, billing, accounting and trade termination.
• Good understanding of front-to-back operating models and the responsibilities of Trading, Middle Office, Operations, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Finance and Technology.
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, process modelling, gap and impact analysis, target operating model design, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, data reconciliation, defect management, implementation and post-go-live support.
• Experience with Securities Finance or collateral platforms such as Murex, Pirum, EquiLend and other market platforms would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with SWIFT securities and collateral messaging, settlement infrastructure, triparty-agent connectivity, market data and upstream/downstream system integration would be beneficial.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work across business, Operations and Technology and translate complex requirements into implementable solutions.
• Self-driven team player with strong ownership, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in an Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environment.
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, process-modelling tools and data-analysis techniques.
