As a GI specialist, you will be the subject matter expert to share the importance of protective insurance and sound financial planning to customers through phone; and recommending suitable policies to address the needs of the individuals and their families.

You will be required to: 

  • Conduct telemarketing calls to prompt general insurance products with clear and succinct product knowledge and references, to existing and prospective customers
  • Entrench a strong brand image of Income through clear and honest sales pitch
  • Recommend suitable policies to address customers’ needs and actively identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
  • Follow-up on enquiries and promote direct business product activations
  • Achieve KPI of sales performance, call quality and operational standards
  • Achieve KPI of leads clearance and talk time
  • Work closely with Team Managers for business development and implementation of sales strategies

To join us as a Telesales Executive, you should: 

  • Have obtained a minimum of GCE 'N' Levels,  3 G.C.E ‘O’ Levels Passes or NITEC certification
  • Relevant insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI and HI will be a plus  
  • Past experience in the insurance industry will be advantageous
  • Professional and well-spoken over the phone
  • Good verbal communication and customer service skills to appease customers
  • Motivated and driven when met with challenges, committed, strong-willed and persuasive in recommending suitable products 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to multi-task to efficiently reply to enquiries
