Job Description: 

We are looking for an experienced General Manager, Marketing Programs to join our team. If you are creative, enjoy building campaigns/marketing programs to solving business challenges and drive business success, we want you on our team! 

As Marketing Programs leader, you are responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the overall company's Marketing Programs strategy. You will be leading the marketing programs efforts to increase brand awareness, promoting technology, vendor’s growth, marketing fund growth and influence sales through the programs of marketing. Responsible for working with the Global Content Hub, Global Intelligent Digital Hub, APAC Creative & Design Hub, you will create "shareable" marketing programs and distributing to the marketers across APAC.

In this role, you will report to the Executive Director of Marketing, APAC and you will work closely with global marketing, in-country marketing, business partners, stakeholder to achieve the business objective and deliverables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Marketing Programs Management

  • A business partner to global, in-country marketers in understanding the business objective, goals and design marketing programs to achieve the goal
  • A business partner to vendor in understanding the vendor’s business objective, goals and design marketing programs to achieve the goal
  • Partner with company’s business units, marketing, strategic vendor to drive brand, product awareness, marketing financials, Ingram Micro’s marketing capability and market share.
  • Translate business and partner’s challenge, requirements into creative marketing plan that convert sales
  • Develop marketing programs that drive customer engagement, attraction and retention
  • Drive marketing programs that may consist of multi solutions, multi vendors, multi verticals
  • Develop new vendor marketing partnerships, helps business promote & pitch Ingram Micro’s marketing capabilities and upscale existing marketing partnership with the vendors
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies, contents, bespoke marketing programs to drive vendor’s partnership, drive company’s sales growth and expand our share of wallet.
  • Build strategic marketing programs that comprises creative, diversify, modern, omnichannel marketing and be applied across APAC countries.
  • Build marketing program template that assist the in-country marketing on time to marketing, elevate marketing capabilities and drive common desired outcome
  • Work with global marketing to transfer global programs and/or new marketing programs that would benefit APAC marketing
  • You will be the go to person for marketing solutions to address challenges, opportunities, new discoveries for both Ingram Micro and the partners/vendors
  • You will be the trusted individual that the marketing leader, business and vendors to go to, for marketing advise, ideas and plan
  • Lead strategic marketing discussion esp with new vendors and prepare RFP 
  • Develop marketing plan/proposal and prepare RFI/RFP for new business opportunities
  • Work closely with vendor and stakeholders in establishing a continuous marketing investment
  • Work closely with senior leaders, product/Sales, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective marketing plan that articulate the company’s brand, our product’s core benefits properly and consistently.
  • Generate ideas and strategies based upon data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Modernize marketing through digital and new age marketing techniques.
  • Analyse new market trends, business opportunities and market segments in local landscape.
  • Drive performance marketing that compromises data mining and analysis
  • Analyse past performance of collections, categories, and campaigns to improve marketing effectiveness and return-on-investment (ROI).
  • Define marketing performance measurements in alignment with marketing objectives and strategies.
  • Develop customer loyalty plans to drive sales, company’s brand and be the market leader
  • Monitor and adjust marketing campaigns, so they run smoothly and reach the intended goals, whether that is to drive customer sales, partners acquisition or increase brand awareness.
  • Work with the Intelligent Digital Hub where the execution team reside, to ensure the most desired digital marketing tactics are adopted and expected outcome delivered
  • Identifies trends and insights, and develop marketing programs based on the insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the online marketing trends, technologies in digital marketing, latest industry trends, business and customer challenges in order to continue to evolve

Skills and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • 15 years of proven work experience in marketing leadership position, driving full suites of marketing services. 
  • Experience in MNC, working in Technology/IT industry or platform (to B, to C)
  • A clear understanding of the B2B digital journey 
  • Applying marketing knowledge in promoting and pitching marketing services to new vendors
  • Creative mind, drive high-quality engaging content, lead and create exciting marketing programs to achieve the business goal & objectives
  • Solid experience in building marketing programs – A campaign driver & builder
  • Creative & resourceful. Capabilities of developing marketing plan that consist of impactful marketing tactics
  • Digital and modern marketing experience a must
  • Experience in Channel Marketing & Demand Generation, including strategizing campaigns, check on data build, leads & conversion.
  • Strong business acumen with good understanding of financial and marketing drive growth
  • Ability to translate business and partners requirements into creative marketing plan that convert sales
  • Advanced knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and understand the customer journey, sales funnels, and marketing strategies
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Leadership skill in developing marketing engagement with vendors
  • Excellence in presentation skill and ability to win deals
  • An engaging and hands-on individual, highly capable of operating and excelling at the strategic and tactical positions
  • Extensive knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms
  • Data-driven and highly analytical. Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools such as Adobe, Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, social media analytics and more
  • Excellent consulting, presentation and communication skills

Team Player, build strong working relationships with cross-department teams, and collaborate to accomplish shared goals.
