Role Summary
An experienced, ambitious, and proactive individual, responsible for new client acquisition. The ideal candidate will build a strong pipeline of corporate relationships, drive cold outreach, network extensively, and convert prospects into clients who engage Marex Solutions for their FX and interest rate hedging needs.
Overall Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation - Identify and target potential corporate clients (SMEs to mid-cap and large corporates) with FX or interest rate exposure. Conduct research to map key decision-makers (CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors). Develop and execute structured outreach campaigns (cold calls, LinkedIn, email, referrals).
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through continuous networking in relevant industry communities, events, and associations.
- Represent Marex Solutions at trade events, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand awareness and drive leads. Leverage existing relationships to gain warm introductions.
Competencies, Skills and Experience
Competencies
- Familiarity with financial derivatives – FX Forwards, Options, Structures
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills with a proven track record of executing commodity derivatives business with corporate clients
- Strong customer focus and ability to work in teams and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
- Strong risk and compliance ethic with ability to conduct business within Company’s policies & procedures and applicable rules and regulations
Sales Execution & Conversion
- Engage prospective clients to understand their treasury and risk management challenges.
- Position Marex Solutions’ hedging products and advisory capabilities effectively to meet those needs.
- Work closely with structuring and trading teams to deliver bespoke solutions.
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle from initial contact to onboarding.
Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Maintain detailed CRM records of all outreach and client interactions.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of activity, pipeline, and conversion metrics.
- Continuously refine targeting strategy based on feedback and performance data.
