Job Description

The FVP, Product Manager will drive the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of innovative digital currency and payment products for United Overseas Bank Ltd, ensuring a competitive edge and strong market adoption.
Job Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for digital currency and payment solutions, including stablecoins, CBDCs, and other emerging payment technologies, in alignment with the bank's strategic objectives.

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify new opportunities and inform product development.

  • Translate market insights and business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and use cases for development teams.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, legal, compliance, risk, and operations teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.

  • Manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and make data-driven decisions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities, in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.

  • Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and identify areas for improvement to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the digital currency and payments landscape.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for digital currency and payment products both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with preferably at least 3 years specifically focused on digital payments, fintech, or digital currency products within a financial institution.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex digital products.

  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, CBDCs, and other distributed ledger technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of payment systems, schemes (e.g., SWIFT, instant payments), and regulatory frameworks in the financial services industry.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed product choices.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
