POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate should possess a profound understanding of modern web and/or mobile frameworks for both front-end and backend development, leveraging this expertise to create innovative solutions. In addition to this, the successful candidate must demonstrate a solid track record of working with prominent cloud computing environments, enabling them to effectively deploy and manage applications and containers in the cloud.
BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and implement full-stack web, mobile applications and plugins that make up the backbone of our decisioning and analysis processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish project goals, gather research requirements, and pioneer innovative solutions
- Enhance web and mobile application user experience through contemporary UX methods
- Remain current with the latest developments in generative AI, deep learning, and related fields
- Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation for application design, processes, and results
- Articulate complex concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide support, guidance, and mentorship to other team members, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4+ years of working experience in technology, financial services, or consulting firm
- Proven experience as a developer, preferably with a strong portfolio of successful projects
- Proficiency with at least one front-end framework (e.g. React, Svelte, Vue, Angular, Solid) and one modern full-stack meta-framework (e.g. Next.js, Sveltekit, Remix, SolidStart)
- Experience working with mainstream databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL) or managed database solution (e.g. Supabase, Planetscale)
- Strong understanding of DevOps and Cloud Platform, preferably AWS.
- Experience working with data platforms and databases/data warehouses will be a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptable and committed to staying current with emerging technologies
