Full-Stack Developer
Summary:
Speedcast Communications is seeking a highly motivated software developer on the internal Enterprise Applications Team. The Apps team is responsible for selecting, developing, implementing, and supporting the enterprise software platforms that enable the flow of business.
Full-Stack Devs on the Apps team are responsible for the entire SDLC for the software platform(s) under their care. This includes building rapid software prototypes to validate understanding with stakeholders, end-to-end testing, delivering major and minor versions, and documenting the functionality for immediate stakeholder feedback and future training.

What You Do:
- Directly help define/refine requirements from business stakeholders and provide insight into the paths of least resistance for the solutions through small Sprints.
- Provide input and updates to the Product Backlog, including the status of the solutions, and adding new requirements as they emerge, including tech debt.
- Maintain platform performance, stability, and software/vendor updates.
- Demonstrate the functionality you’ve built directly to the Users to gather feedback.
You Must Have Experience With:
- SaaS WebApp delivery in AWS and Azure, app security (WAFs), & BCDR
- Docker and containerized environments
- REST APIs, ReactJS, NextJS, and NodeJS
- Python, Redis Cache, SQL, PostgreSQL
- Test automation and deployment pipelines
