Role Summary

  • To join Marex Financial Products, one of the fastest-growing and most ambitious structured products teams in the market globally.
  • To work as a sales assistant to support the team in the day-to-day operational tasks induced by the clients activity in structured products transactions on asset classes like equities, cryptos, credit, commodities, funds, FX, rates.
  • To help the team achieve higher revenues from an increasing volume of trades, by improving speed, accuracy and efficiency in the operational aspects of the trade cycle.
  • The candidate will be trained by the members of the team and will be expected to interact closely with the internal stakeholder teams (sales, trading, operations, marketing, business managers, others).
  • This is an exceptional opportunity for outstanding and ambitious candidates keen to gain an experience in capital markets.

Overall Responsibilities

Support The FP team with the following objectives:

  • To support the sales team on operational aspects of the tradecycle (primarily post-trade), including trades booking, life-cycle management, invoicing and others.
  • To master the trades booking process and ensure ongoing consistency and accuracy, to manage the various tools of the team and regularly bring improvement suggestions.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities related to trade support, products life cycle management and activity monitoring.
  • To thrive in the fast-pace working environment, and adapt to the ever-evolving priorities of the team. 
  • Ensure course of business is in line with the Company’s policies procedures and comply with the rules and regulations.
  • The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time.

Competencies, Skills and Experience

  • Studying at a University for a Bachelor or Master’s degree with a major in economics, finance, or accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a “self-starter”, result-driven.
  • Ability to work proactively within a team as well as individually.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin essential
  • Good attention to detail is essential.
