As an analyst for O&T Financial Control, the candidate should possess strong analytical skills to be able to contribute effectively amongst the various duties in this role:

  • Support the Finance team and business on all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including controlling, analysing and reporting on financial performance

  • Work with various departments/groups and Finance teams on tracking and understanding financials related to O&T costs (including Operating Expenses, Capital Expenditure)

  • Perform impact analysis by applying scenario tools to cost

  • Understand and explore ways for improvement of cost allocation.

  • Provide support to costing review with Business Units.

  • Preparation of annual budget, financial forecasts and ad-hoc reporting

  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments relating to financials

  • Possess a good university degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.

  • Proven working experience and knowledge in Management reporting, or work in analytical roles in the financial industry will be an advantage.

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Detail-oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately and on a timely basis

  • Strong MS-Excel skills (e.g. Power Query, Pivot Table) will be advantageous

  • An independent self-starter and a team player who is able to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests.
