Job Title: Finance Analyst
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Location: Singapore
Overview: We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team! This role offers a great opportunity to broaden your skill set, focusing on business partnering and management accounting. You will oversee the integrity of accounting operations, working closely with shared service center, and acting as a trusted business partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and collaborate with shared services to improve efficiency.
- Conduct monthly reviews of accounts and prepare standardized dashboards.
- Ensure tax compliance for GST filings and annual income tax returns.
- Manage inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and monthly settlements.
- Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders for timely audit closures and reporting.
- Prepare and submit global reporting packages.
- Handle transfer pricing transactions.
- Represent Singapore in global projects.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and planning cycles.
- Ensure accurate financial results through high-quality analysis.
- Conduct monthly P&L variance analysis and commentary for finance leadership.
- Perform cash flow forecasting, variance reporting, and fixed asset processing.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support to business partners.
- Collaborate with other functions for close teamwork.
- Manage accounts payable, including employee expense reimbursements.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes and collections.
- Ensure accurate costing and timely cost roll-ups.
- Identify and drive process improvement initiatives.
- Oversee local banking relationships as needed.
- Handle other ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of finance experience with relevant accounting/audit/fp&a background.
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting; CA/CPA qualifications preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience from a public accounting firm is a plus.
- Knowledge of US GAAP, SAP, IFRS, local accounting regulations, and cash flow forecasting.
- Strong attention to detail and experience managing large data sets in Excel.
