Job Description

This role is based in our Bugis Junction Towers office.

The Apprentice, Events & Conferences position is designed to support the planning and execution of high-impact conferences and event activities within the Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG) portfolio. This role provides hands-on exposure to the full conference lifecycle — from speaker invitations and content planning to operational execution and on-site delivery.
As part of the ATxSG content team, the apprentice will work alongside producers, sales, marketing, operations, and design teams to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of conferences and awards. The role involves frequent interaction with senior industry stakeholders (e.g. C-suite speakers), giving the apprentice valuable experience in managing external relationships and content logistics.
This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a passion for events, and a desire to grow in the field of conference production and event management.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and invite C-suite executives and industry leaders to speak at the conference — including keynotes, fireside chats, and panels
  • Manage speaker communication including confirmations, administrative follow-ups, bios, photos, and presentation materials
  • Support speaker logistics and scheduling, including the coordination of briefing calls and preparation meetings
  • Maintain and update conference agendas and the internal speaker database; source and track new potential speakers
  • Manage sponsor speaker deliverables and expectations in close coordination with the commercial and partnerships team
  • Upload speaker details and session updates on the event website and ensure programme accuracy
  • Prepare cue sheets and session briefing notes in the lead-up to the event
  • Support the successful delivery of the conference on-site — including speaker check-in, session timekeeping, and backstage management
  • Assist with planning and execution of event features that are part of ATxSG — such as sourcing venues and coordinating logistics for lab tours, the ATxSG Party, Awards Night, and other associated activities
  • Collaborate closely with the Event Director and Conference Producer, as part of a wider team including marketing, sales, and operations
  • Assist with post-event documentation and speaker appreciation follow-ups
  • Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using office software and CRM tools.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to learn.
