We are looking for a highly motivated Enterprise Marketing Manager to join our APAC marketing team as our first marketing hire for our Japan market. This is a mid-level, individual contributor role with high visibility and impact, focused on executing and localising integrated marketing programs that drive brand awareness and enterprise pipeline growth in Japan.

Reporting to the Senior Director Marketing, APAC, you will work closely with Japan-based sales and regional and global marketing teams to adapt global strategies for the local market and deliver high-quality marketing execution. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who understands the Japanese B2B landscape, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is excited to grow within a global organization.

The role also offers growth potential to expand coverage across additional APAC markets over time. We are seeking a candidate with a growth mindset, strong ownership, and a willingness to take on new challenges as the APAC business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Planning & Execution

  • Support the development and execution of Japan’s marketing plan in alignment with APAC and global objectives, under the guidance of the Senior Director Marketing, APAC.
  • Partner closely with the Japan Country Manager and commercial teams to execute integrated campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth.
  • Provide ongoing market feedback and insights on customer needs, competitive landscape, and local market dynamics.

Brand Awareness & Integrated Campaigns

  • Execute Japan-specific initiatives that strengthen brand recognition and credibility.
  • Own the day-to-day execution of the Japan campaign calendar, ensuring alignment with global priorities.
  • Localize global and regional campaigns, adapting messaging, tone, and creative assets for the Japanese audience.

Enterprise Marketing & ABM

  • Execute ABM and enterprise marketing programs targeting high-value accounts, in collaboration with regional and global teams.
  • Support account-specific initiatives, including customized content, events, and touchpoints to engage decision-makers.
  • Track account engagement and campaign performance, sharing insights to help optimize programs over time.

Content, PR & Localization

  • Localize and create marketing content, including customer stories, blogs, social posts, web copy, and email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with regional and global PR & Communications teams to support local media opportunities and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Work with product and sales teams to support go-to-market launches and ensure consistent messaging.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Events

  • Work closely with global marketing teams (digital, field, creative, communications) to ensure Japan programs are well integrated.
  • Support and execute small-scale, high-impact customer and prospect events tailored to the Japanese market.
  • Maintain close alignment with the Japan sales team to ensure marketing activities support pipeline goals.

Performance, Reporting & Budget Support

  • Track and report on marketing performance metrics, including campaign engagement, lead generation, and pipeline contribution.
  • Support effective use of the Japan marketing budget, working with leadership to prioritize spend and maximize impact.
  • Share on-the-ground insights to help refine targeting, creative performance, and audience engagement.

Project Coordination & Problem Solving

  • Manage marketing initiatives from planning through execution, coordinating internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed.
  • Identify risks or blockers early and collaborate with partners to keep projects on track.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience & Market Knowledge

  • 5–7 years of marketing experience in Japan’s B2B, tech, or SaaS sectors, with a strong understanding of the local business landscape, enterprise buyer expectations, and channel preferences.

Marketing Execution & Delivery

  • Hands-on experience executing integrated marketing programs across channels, including ABM, field marketing, content, digital performance, and events.
  • Ability to adapt global strategies and campaigns for local execution, incorporating guidance and feedback from regional and global teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

  • Experience working within global or regional marketing organizations, collaborating effectively across cultures, regions, and time zones.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate differing priorities, build alignment, and partner closely with sales to support pipeline outcomes—without direct authority.

Project & Partner Management

  • Solid project management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience coordinating with agencies, vendors, or external partners to support campaign execution.

Mindset & Communication

  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with a growth mindset and openness to coaching.
  • Strategic yet hands-on, with maturity, accountability, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Native-level Japanese and professional fluency in English, with clear and effective communication skills for both local and global stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of additional Asian languages is a plus.
