How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay ahead of the curve in terms of technology trends and advancements. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop architecture solutions that meet their requirements. You'll also need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of technology solutions.
What you do

  • Lead and produce Architecture design for solutions (for the domain), and architecture roadmap considering Technology strategyBU's objectives and business aspirations, architecture direction, technologtrends, and regulatory requirements.

  • Based on as-is technology landscape and architecture, analyse and produce target Architecture and propose to stakeholders to meet business aspirations and technology architecture direction

  • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to build a holistic architecture roadmap and blueprint for the domain and follow through during implementation

  • Adopt and align to Architecture standards/guidelines/policies based on the bank’s needs, regulatory requirements and anticipated technology advances during solutioning and project

  • Lead key enterprise architectural design reviews/solutions/projects for the domain (as listed above)

  • Work closely with Business Analysts, Engineering, PM, Infrastructure and IT teams to understand their needs and ensure the best target architecture is implemented for the domain

  • Perform benchmarking on selected Technology areas and domain, as necessary

  • Govern and maintain adherence to bank wide architectural standards related to the domain

  • Ensure solutions and projects follow Group  strategies to achieve (but not limited to) the following:

    • Cost synergy;

    • Enhanced risk management;

    • Customer service excellence;

    • Business competitive advantage

    • Drive the implementation approach to align with Group Technology Architecture and Technology Roadmap.

    • Identify and proposkey initiatives that have material  impact to the Group, engage and obtain endorsements from key stakeholders.

    • Cascade the endorsed implementation directioto the Group Operations & Technology teams

Who you are

  • Bachelor or Master degreiComputer Sc. or Computer Eng. or above in related IT discipline

  • Strong System Architecture and/or system integration hands-on-knowledge

  • Additional business degree would be an advantage

  • Recognized industry’s certification (e.g. CISSP, TOGAF, CISArelated to functional area is a plus

  • More than 5 years work experience in Enterprise/ Solution Architectural work cuacross technical (e.g. systems integrationanIT governance/managemenareas (e.g. technology strategy creation, management

  • Strong domain knowledge with sufficient technical knowledge on the system architecture.

  • Work experience as business analyst/ technical system analyst will be added advantage as well

  • Demonstrateability in providing cost effectiveness and right sizing

  • Good knowledge of technology and business trends in financial industry

  • A good teaplayer anable to woreffectively aall levels of an organization with the ability tinfluence others to move towards consensus

  • Good written and verbal communication skillshighly organizeanable to interact professionally anappropriately aall levels of the organization
