About ClickHouse

Established in 2009, ClickHouse leads the industry with its open-source column-oriented database system, driven by the vision of becoming the fastest OLAP database globally. The company empowers users to generate real-time analytical reports through SQL queries, emphasizing speed in managing escalating data volumes. Enterprises globally, including Lyft, Sony, IBM, GitLab, Twilio, HubSpot, and many more, rely on ClickHouse Cloud. It is available through open-source or on AWS, GCP, Azure, and Alibaba.

Note: This role is remote, but the final candidate must be based in Singapore and open to regional ASEAN travel.

ClickHouse is on a mission to grow a vibrant global user community and accelerate our journey as a cloud first company. We’re looking for a seasoned Account Executive to help expand our customer base and shape the future of ClickHouse adoption in the ASEAN region. This is an exciting opportunity to join after the general availability of our serverless Cloud product and play a pivotal role in defining how it is positioned and adopted in the market.

Our ideal candidate brings both business acumen and technical depth, capable of guiding customers with specialized expertise to help them achieve their objectives and unlock the full value of ClickHouse.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Turn your network into revenue: Warm up existing executive, architect, and buying-center relationships from your current market to open doors

  • Land fast, grow big: Build near-term pipeline and close monthly Cloud deals while orchestrating multi-threaded strategic enterprise cycles (3–36 months) with clear land-expand plans.

  • Win competitive takeouts: Lead displacement/migration plays vs. incumbent OLAP/data platforms; design POCs and business cases that prove performance, cost/TCO, and time-to-value.

  • Co-sell with hyperscalers: Drive joint motions with AWS/GCP/Azure (ACE, Partner Center, Partner Advantage), leverage marketplaces and private offers, and align to EDP/commit drawdown.

  • Champion ClickHouse Cloud: Evangelize our vision (real-time analytics at massive scale), including BYOC patterns for regulated customers; translate roadmaps into executive-ready narratives.

  • Operate with precision: Capture use cases, stakeholders, MEDDICC, timelines, and forecasts in Salesforce; deliver accurate monthly forecasts and crisp deal reviews.

  • Fuel the community: Show up at local meetups, partner events, and customer roundtables; help run ClickHouse-focused community sessions.

What You Bring
  • Enterprise selling experience at a direct competitor (or adjacent data platform)

  • A live network of CXO/VP-level buyers, data platform owners, and solution architects across priority accounts—and partner counterparts across AWS/GCP/Azure and key SIs/GSIs.

  • Mastery of consumption-led motions, marketplace transacts, and commercial constructs (EDP, private offers, co-sell crediting).

  • Ability to qualify hard, design compelling POCs, and quarterback cross-functional resources (SE, Product, PS, Alliances) to a mutual success plan.

  • 7+ years in cloud/data/infra; open-source commercial models a plus. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and board-level presentation skills.

Bonus Points For
  • Founder mentality: You’ve built (or rebuilt) a territory/playbook and delivered results in a fast-moving environment.

  • Success in a remote-first, global org with lean enablement and high autonomy.

  • Prior wins selling databases/analytics with major clouds (and you know the people to call on day one).

  • Experience crafting BYOC/sovereign patterns for FSI/telco/public sector.
