Position Description

The Position will be worked as the PE professional investment manager for CITIC CLSA’s USD Investment platform “CITIC CLSA Capital Partners” with a 5 billion USD AUM. Responsible for growth private equity investment in China and Asia Market, focus on Edge Tech investment, including Smart Manufacturing, New material and TMT industry. This position is full time and based in Hong Kong is required. Interested candidate please submit your English and Chinese resumes for review and consideration.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, deal sourcing, execution, portfolio and post-investment management of growth-stage equity investment projects in Greater China and the Asian markets according to the fund's investment strategy.

  • Conduct analysis and mapping of sub-sectors in advanced technology fields and identify investment opportunities.

  • Collaborating with fund team in other Asia countries for proceeding multinational investment deals

  • Formulate deal structures and negotiate legal documentation with investment targets.

  • Regularly manage the post-investment portfolio, providing value-add whenever possible.

  • Generate quarterly valuations and portfolio reports.

  • Collaborate with other departments to complete daily fund management tasks.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or above, showcasing excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities gained from sophisticated educational institution

  • More than 15 years of stable working experience in HK or overseas market with 10+ years in PE fund investment, USD VC/ growth funds with an industry-specific investment background

  • Familiarity with advanced technology fields in Greater China and the Asia-Pacific region is preferred. Candidates with industry-specific investment backgrounds would be an absolute advantage.

  • Solid knowledge in Asia PE market development; HK/ US/ A share listing, with a track record in related stock market, USD investment experience is preferred

  • Good work ethic with ability to work effectively and under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Team-player and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, with Cantonese as a bonus

  • Experienced candidate will be considered as Executive Director.
