Job Description
Excellent opportunity in the central control management team.
As a Central Control Management - Controls Room Legal Entity Reporting VP within the Controls Room Firmwide and Regional Reporting team, you will be responsible for overseeing our Regional and Legal Entity reporting functions. You will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of operational risk-related reports to stakeholders, adhere to and strengthen our governance framework, and promote sustainable continuous improvement initiatives. You will also develop and implement reporting strategies that align with the Firm's goals and objectives, prepare and distribute accurate and timely reports, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies. This role provides an opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders, provide strategic insights to senior leadership, analyze data for trends and improvements, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the reporting team.
Job responsibilities:

  • Oversee the reporting book of work, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement reporting strategies that align with the Firm's goals and objectives.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate and timely reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address reporting needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations through effective commentary to senior leadership based on data analysis.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Leverage modern techniques, such as Large Language Models (LLM), to perform in-depth data analysis and provide actionable insights.
  • Evaluate and implement advanced reporting tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy and c ontinuously re-evaluate the existing reporting landscape in line with the evolving risk and control environment.
  • Provide thought leadership in reporting practices, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices and f oster a culture of excellence and innovation within the reporting team.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting principles and reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with operational risk in the banking industry is preferred
  • MBA preferred
  • At least 7 years of experience with reporting and analytics using tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and Excel, preferably with experience in Python, SAS, R, etc
