About the Job

A Director of Product Management is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall strategy, vision, and execution of a company's product portfolio. They bridge the gap between business, technology, and user experience, ensuring products meet market needs and drive business growth. This role will report to CTO of Bitdeer.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Product Vision & Roadmap:
    • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business goals.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
    • Define team goals, track performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
    • Recruit and onboard new product management talent.
  • Product Development & Execution:
    • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
    • Define product requirements, specifications, and user stories.
    • Monitor product performance and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.
    • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to retirement.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related matters, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Present product strategy and roadmap to senior management and other key stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Business Acumen & Analysis:
    • Analyze product data and metrics to identify trends and insights.
    • Develop and manage product budgets and forecasts.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product success.
    • Understand the financial aspects of the products they are responsible for.

How you will stand out:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MS degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in product management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of product development methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Knowledge of the relevant industry and market trends.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
