Digital Business Manager — Digital and Workforce Solution
We are looking for a hands-on Digital Business Manager who is both a sales driver and a digital practitioner with proven client acquisition experience.
This role is not for a strategist or purely academic profile — we are looking for someone who has personally acquired clients using digital capabilities, ideally through freelance work, agency experience, or platforms like Upwork.
You will be responsible for selling, closing, and growing client relationships, while also mentoring learners on how to acquire clients and build real-world capability in digital and workforce transformation.
You will represent two solution pillars that sit at the heart of our business:
1. Digital Workforce Solution
We equip higher education students and career adults with the skills to transition, convert, or advance in the digital economy. Programmes are delivered across five tracks and include:
Work-Study Degree — A structured work-study pathway offering a recognised degree qualification in partnership with higher education institutions — designed for those who want to earn while they learn.
Digital Career Conversion Programme — A targeted reskilling programme that enables mid-career adults to pivot into digital and tech-enabled roles through structured, employer-aligned learning pathways.
Digital Skilling Programme — A workforce enablement programme designed to upskill individuals across five digital competency tracks, equipping them for higher-impact roles in a digitally transformed workplace.
2. Digital Solution
We deliver purpose-built digital software solutions that help individuals and organisations work smarter. Our current flagship offering is:
Agentic CRM Solution — An AI-powered customer relationship management platform designed to automate workflows, enhance customer engagement, and drive business outcomes for organisations at scale.
Agentic Software Solution — Broader enterprise-grade agentic tools that enable organisations to embed AI into core business processes and operations.
What You Will Do
- Sales & Client Acquisition (Core Focus)
- Actively generate, pitch, and close new SME and business clients
- Use digital channels, networks, and platforms like Upwork to acquire clients
- Conduct direct outreach and engage business owners to convert leads into paying clients
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
- Client Advisory (Digital & Workforce Transformation)
- Advise SMEs on digital and workforce transformation opportunities to grow their business
- Translate client needs into practical growth, capability, and digital adoption solutions
- Use practitioner experience to support business owners in improving performance and scalability
- Learner Mentorship & Agency Building
- Mentor learners on how to acquire clients and build a digital marketing / digital services agency
- Share real experience in winning clients, handling objections, and closing deals
- Guide learners through real-world client acquisition and business-building scenarios
- Build and grow a community of potential learners around the aspiring one-person company and digital freelancer space
Requirements
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited about learning — because in this role, you will be learning constantly. If continuous growth in an evolving AI-driven landscape energises you, read on. If it does not, this role may not be the right fit.
- 3–7 years of experience in digital, business development, or freelance/agency work
- Must have personally acquired and closed clients (not just supported delivery)
- Experience using platforms like Upwork or similar is a strong advantage
- Strong sales ability and confidence engaging business owners and decision-makers
- Practitioner mindset — knows how to turn digital capability into business outcomes
- Entrepreneurial, persuasive, and commercially driven
- Natural influencer and evangelist — able to inspire confidence and get people to act

- Consistently acquires and closes new clients
- Builds strong SME relationships and revenue pipelines
- Helps learners develop real client acquisition capability
