About the role

We’re looking for a Customer Solutions Manager with the ambition of helping us continue our revenue growth and brand building across the globe. In this role, you will work directly with the GM, Operations & Growth as well as the HQ Team located in Hong Kong [and elsewhere]. You will be responsible for growing the customer and consultant base and expanding existing relationships in order to accelerate revenue growth. You will be an experienced professional who understands and is excited by our business mission and who demonstrates energy and passion for driving our business forward and contributing towards meeting our ambitious growth plans.

You are an individual that can bring together technology, expert practitioners and specialists, you can design and cross-sell connected products to customers in addition to developing relationships with our consultants so as to ensure the best outcomes for our business. Your role will be to source new customers and new consultants and to increase our presence with current customers as well as developing new customer relations. You know how to close a deal and are a hunter. You also know how to identify and nurture good talent.  You are at ease with sales targets and are always looking to drive opportunities, relationships and revenue across our organization. You are an amazing people person, and have excellent communication skills in order to grow, engage and support our consultant community.

The role can be part-time or full-time. The role is based in Singapore.


Key responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and introduce new customer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to identify leads and convert into successful sales.
  • Focus on sales lead generation, customer meetings and referrals to build a healthy sales pipeline of new customers.
  • Engage with customers to develop long term mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Help drive growth to position us as the market leader and contribute towards and execute on strategic sales growth plans.
  • Build our profile in the market, proactively identify the range of opportunities and create compelling sales and BD strategies to win and expand business.
  • Offer input to product and service development through understanding customer needs.
  • Spot partnership opportunities as this segment of the legal industry continues to evolve.
  • Ensure that best practice is shared and customer and regional intelligence is communicated
  • Understand the wider offerings of KorumLegal and gain a good understanding of broader sector / client trends, issues, needs, and potential applicability

Consultant Onboarding & Management

  • Engage with Consultant lawyers to fulfil our customer needs.
  • Develop a good understanding of the needs of each customer or assignment by working with the Customer Solutions team and the respective GMs.
  • Source suitable consultants and brief/sell them on the opportunities offered by the customer as well as the KorumLegal value proposition for them.
  • Manage the engagement process from interview to commencement stage and beyond. This would include onboarding the consultant using our proprietary platform, Axceller.
  • Take a strategic approach to consultant resourcing by matching supply and demand across the KorumLegal platform to ensure best utilisation of consultant resources while increasing chances of sales success.

 

Key performance indicators

  • Sales revenue (new and existing customers).
  • Generation of new sales leads.
  • Consultant placement of assignments.
  • Conversion of prospects, by proactively moving leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Strengthen the ‘KorumLegal’ brand in APAC, both amongst consultants and customers.

Key requirements

  • A demonstrated ability to impact revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • You are a strong negotiator, influencer and team player, used to managing multiple stakeholders in demanding time-critical situations.
  • Sector experience and an existing network in Legal/Professional Services industries is advantageous
  • Good understanding of the ALSP and NewLaw value proposition of innovative legal solutions and its positioning and potential within the wider industry.
  • Comfortable navigating sales conversations with senior executives, legal and non-legal.
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work and thrive in a scale-up environment.
  • An analytical mind and a data driven approach to sales strategies
  • Exemplary verbal and written English are a must. Knowledge of Mandarin or another Asian language will be advantageous but not necessary.
