Royal Ocean Marine is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Crewing Manager for our client's operations in the Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the crewing operations for our client's managed vessels, developing and implementing efficient crew management processes, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the recruitment, selection, and deployment of qualified crew members for various vessels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with manning agents and training institutions for sourcing crew.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and organizational policies related to crewing.
  • Prepare and manage crew budgets and assist in payroll processing.
  • Monitor and evaluate crew performance, implement training and development programs as necessary.
  • Oversee crew documentation, contracts, and certificates to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of crewing operations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the crewing team and support in resolving any crew-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of crewing functions within the organization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in crewing management, preferably within the maritime industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and crewing practices.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and crew management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in both English and Filipino is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
