About the Role
We are looking for a Community Operations Intern to help grow and engage our user community for a product-led (PLG) platform serving R&D scientists and researchers.
This role is ideal for someone with a technical or scientific background who understands how researchers think, communicate, and collaborate — and is interested in bridging science and product/user engagement.
What You’ll Do
Community Engagement

Moderate discussions across platforms (e.g., Slack, Discord, forums).
Respond to basic user queries and escalate technical/product issues when needed.
Community Growth (PLG Focus)
Help design and execute initiatives to grow and activate users.
Support onboarding experiences for new users.
Identify ways to improve user engagement and retention
Content & Knowledge Support
Assist in creating community content (e.g., tutorials, use cases, discussion prompts). Translate technical/product concepts into user-friendly communication.
Capture user feedback and insights to inform product improvements.
User Insights & Operations
Monitor community activity and engagement metrics.
Organize and tag user feedback from the community.
Support internal reporting on user behavior and trends.
What We’re Looking For
Undergraduate in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Life Sciences, or related field. Exposure to a research environment (e.g., lab work, research projects, internships).
Strong curiosity about how scientists work and solve problems.
Good written communication skills (ability to explain technical ideas clearly).
Organized and proactive, with attention to detail.
Nice to Have
Experience with online communities, forums, or student/research groups.
Interest in startups, SaaS, or product-led growth (PLG).
Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, Discord, or similar.
What You’ll Gain
Exposure to how AI / SaaS products serve real R&D users.
Experience working at the intersection of science, product, and user engagement.
Opportunity to shape how a technical community grows from early stage.
