Why Join:

As a Cash Product Manager within OCBC’s Global Transaction Banking (GTB) division, you will be responsible for managing and driving the Virtual Account product, a key solution encompassing Collections and Payments. This role focuses on ideating, developing, and commercializing Virtual Account solutions tailored to the needs of Corporate and SMEs across OCBC’s core markets of Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.

You will play a pivotal role in transformative projects aimed at enhancing the payments landscape by delivering innovative and client-centric solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of product management and product development within a dynamic, regional banking environment.

You will report into the Regional Manager for Virtual Account.

What you do:

1. Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle of the Virtual Account product, from ideation and requirements gathering to development, testing, launch, and continuous enhancements

2. Collaborate closely with Sales and Relationship Managers to drive commercialisation efforts, promote scalable use cases, and maximise product adoption and revenue growth

3. Work with cross-functional teams including Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to brainstorm, design, and implement innovative solutions that meet client needs and risk management requirements

4. Partner with teams across OCBC’s core markets to develop and tailor solutions that meet the evolving needs of regional corporate clients

5. Continuously refine product processes, balancing robust risk management and controls without compromising client experience

6. Provide day-to-day operational support by resolving issues and responding to queries from the Call Centre and Implementation teams

7. Deliver comprehensive training sessions on product updates, enhancements, and new launches to stakeholders such as Sales, Relationship Managers, Call Centre and Operations teams

8. Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform and redefine product strategy, ensuring the Virtual Account product remains competitive and compliant

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Payment-related Product Management and/or Cash Management, preferably within Wholesale or Retail Banking

  • Proven track record of strong execution skills, with a high sense of responsibility and accountability to drive projects forward and resolve issues promptly, effectively, and independently

  • Ability to perform well under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent and versatile communication skills, with the capability to lead and unite cross-functional teams

  • Creative problem solver who is independent, self-driven, and collaborative by nature
