Co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore with offices in 14 markets worldwide, we are entering one of the most exciting chapters in our journey. In March 2026, we delivered the largest month in our 11-year history with record revenue, record volumes, and EBITDA profitability. Today, Nium moves nearly $60B in payments annually, almost entirely for enterprises, while continuing to strengthen an already healthy balance sheet.

It is an incredible time to join us, and we are only just getting started.

Our payout network spans 190+ countries and 100 currencies, with 100 + corridors in real time. We power seamless transfers to accounts, wallets, and cards, support local collections in 35 markets, and as a principal card issuer on Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and UATP, Nium issues over 50 million card tokens every year. Backed by regulatory licenses in 40+ markets, we make it simple for our partners to onboard, integrate, and scale globally. This scale and innovation have earned us recognition as one of CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies 2025, winner of Best Cross-Border Payments Solution at the PayTech Awards, and inclusion in FXC Intelligence’s Top 100 Cross-Border Payments Companies list.

In 2024, we raised US$50 million in Series E funding at a US$1.4 billion valuation to accelerate network expansion, product innovation, and talent growth. With the B2B payments market projected to hit US$175 trillion by 2030, Nium offers ambitious builders the chance to shape the future of global money movement with the scale of a leader and the energy of a high-growth company.

The Role

Nium is looking for a Card Program Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle, operational performance, and expansion of our global card issuance products. You will be the central operational owner for our card programs, acting as the primary bridge between external partners (card networks, BIN sponsors, issuer processors) and internal product, engineering, and compliance teams.

As we aggressively scale our commercial and stablecoin card offerings on the N1 platform, you will ensure these programs launch flawlessly, operate within strict compliance and network rules, and deliver exceptional unit economics. This role sits at the intersection of product operations, partner management, and business strategy, reporting into the Stablecoin product leadership.

Responsibilities

    • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Nium’s card issuance programs, from partner onboarding and technical implementation to daily operations and optimization.

    • Serve as the primary relationship manager for card networks (Visa, Mastercard), issuing banks/BIN sponsors, issuer processors, and card fulfillment vendors.

    • Partner closely with engineering and product teams to architect and launch commercial stablecoin card programs, ensuring seamless operational alignment with satoshi wallet verification APIs and non-custodial wallet integrations.

    • Own program unit economics, working with finance to track interchange revenue, network fees, processing costs, and overall program profitability.

    • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure all card programs strictly adhere to network rules, regional financial regulations, PCI-DSS, and AML/KYC requirements.

    • Lead cross-functional go-to-market readiness for new card products, coordinating with sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure successful market entries.

    • Investigate and resolve escalated program issues, acting as the primary point of contact for major operational incidents affecting cardholders or partners.

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, operational runbooks, and partner SLAs.

Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or partner management within the fintech, payments, or banking sectors.

    • 3+ years of direct experience managing card issuing programs (credit, debit, or prepaid) and working directly with major card networks (Visa, Mastercard).

    • Deep understanding of the card issuance ecosystem, including issuer processors (e.g., Marqeta, Thales, Galileo), BIN sponsorship models, interchange mechanics, and physical/virtual card fulfillment.

    • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder external partnerships and negotiate operational SLAs.

    • Strong foundation in payment compliance, network operating regulations, and financial risk management.

    • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills, with a track record of driving alignment between highly technical engineering PODs and business-oriented commercial teams.

    • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to build performance dashboards, analyze transaction data, and identify operational bottlenecks.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex network rules into actionable engineering or business requirements.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience working with card networks and processors

    • Direct experience launching or managing crypto-linked cards, stablecoin payment rails, or Web3 financial products.

    • Prior experience operating card programs across multiple international jurisdictions simultaneously.
