In this role, you will lead the team to assure quality of software products developed in Prudential Singapore. As part of this dynamic role, you will report to Head of Performance Management and Quality Assurance; and work closely with business units and other IT teams to deliver leading edge technology to enable digital capabilities of Prudential Singapore.

  • Estimate, plan, prioritize and coordinate testing activities for the Ops Testing team.
  • Liaise with various internal and external teams to identify system requirement enhancements and identify the scope for UAT.
  • Manage vendors and internal automated test engineers to deliver performance testing.
  • Manage vendors and internal manual testers to deliver the UAT scope.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like open defect counts and defect densities
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest testing tools and test strategies.

Working Experience

  • At least 10 years of working experience in software development quality assurance with at least 3 years of working experience in Life Insurance industry.
  • Experience working in both the Agile software development and Waterfall software development process.
  • Experience in 1 or more of the following technologies:
    • Functional Testing (HP Unified Functional Testing, SeeTest, Cucumber, Selenium, Appium)
    • Load Testing (Jmeter, LoadRunner)
  • Experience with performance testing is a plus
  • Experience in a managing the internal team and vendor management

Education

  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
